A court has agreed to reschedule the trial for a former Decorah man authorities believe murdered a teen in 2017. James David Bachmurski was previously scheduled to face a jury of his peers on Wednesday, March 19, but the 65-year-old is now expected to have his day in court on Monday, Aug. 4.

Luther College’s 10th annual Giving Day raises over $1.2 million

Luther College raised more than $1,206,800 during the college’s 10th annual Giving Day on Thursday, March 6. The money raised will be put toward the Luther Fund, the college’s unrestricted current fund which supports all students, faculty, staff and community endeavors on campus.
